Language, Theme, and Updates

Language#

The app includes Simplified Chinese and English. Changing the language from Settings prompts for confirmation and restarts the app so every window uses the new language.

To add another language:

  1. Select Open Language Folder from the language menu.
  2. Copy _template.json and rename it with the new language code.
  3. Edit the code, display name, and translated strings.
  4. Select Reload Language Packs in the app.

Missing strings fall back to English. Release notes are provided in Chinese and English; custom languages receive English release notes.

Theme#

Choose System, Light, or Dark. If text contrast looks incorrect, switch to System and then select the preferred theme again.

Check for Updates#

The app checks for updates alongside startup sign-in without blocking it. You can also select Check for Updates from Settings.

The update window displays the latest version, publication date, and release notes matching the app language. Installers are distributed through the configured QQ group or cloud drive rather than the authorization server.
