KaMenu UI Studio User Guide

KaMenu UI Studio is a Windows visual editor for KaMenu authors. It provides two main workspaces:

  • Advanced UI Editor: design custom glyph interfaces with grids, button regions, and pixel textures.
  • YML Editor: edit KaMenu files and visually preview Dialog and container menus, including action queues.

The app supports ItemsAdder, CraftEngine, and Oraxen exports, Chinese and English interfaces, project recovery, recent projects, and update checks.

  2. Read Account and License to sign in or start a trial.
  3. See Workspace Overview for the two editors.
  4. To create a custom glyph UI, open Advanced UI Basics.
  5. To edit an existing menu, open YML Editor Basics.

For container menus, see Visual Container. The editor recognizes container Type and Layout, preserves unsupported YAML sections during synchronization, and uses container-specific syntax checks in the Problems panel.
