Installation and Updates

Install#

  1. Run KaMenuUIStudio-<version>-Setup.exe.
  2. Select Simplified Chinese or English on the first page.
  3. Read and accept the license terms.
  4. Select the installation folder.
  5. Choose whether to create desktop and Start menu shortcuts.
  6. Wait for installation to finish and launch the app.

The installer works for the current Windows user, normally requires no administrator access, and includes the required .NET runtime.

Upgrade an Existing Installation#

Run the newer installer and choose the existing installation folder. External .kmstudio projects and YML workspaces are preserved. Save all open work before upgrading.

Uninstall#

Use Windows Installed apps, or run Uninstall.exe from the installation folder.

You may choose whether to clear app settings and sign-in data. The uninstaller does not delete projects, menu folders, or server workspaces stored elsewhere.
